3. Services and Educational Content

3.1 Overview of Services

School of Psychedelics provides the following services guided by our core principle that "Education is safety":

  • Online Training Programs: Self-paced educational modules via our learning management system
  • Immersive Retreats: In-person experiential training in various global locations
  • Supervised Practicum: Guided professional practice with mentorship
  • Certification Programs: Comprehensive professional education combining online training, retreats, and practicums
  • B2B Training: Custom educational programs and training services for organizations, healthcare systems, research institutions, and retreat centers
  • Digital Products: Downloadable guides, workbooks, and supplementary materials

3.2 Educational Purpose

All content and services are provided for educational and informational purposes only. Our programs focus on preparation and integration techniques related to psychedelic experiences and do not involve the administration of or participation in psychedelic journeys. We believe that "Education is safety" - providing evidence-based, comprehensive knowledge creates the foundation for responsible, ethical, and effective engagement with psychedelic medicines.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

4.1 Ownership of Content and Methodologies

All content, materials, courses, and resources provided through our website—including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, audio, video, software, course materials, methodologies (including the Embodied Imagination® method for Psychedelic Integration), and proprietary approaches—are owned by or licensed to the School and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. The Embodied Imagination® method for Psychedelic Integration and associated techniques are proprietary to School of Psychedelics and may not be reproduced, taught, or implemented without express written permission.

4.2 Permitted Use

You may access and use our publicly available content for your personal, non-commercial use. When sharing publicly available content, proper attribution to School of Psychedelics is required.

4.3 Prohibited Use

Unless explicitly authorized in writing, you may not:

  • Reproduce, distribute, display, perform, or create derivative works of any content from our paid courses, programs, or restricted materials
  • Use our content for commercial purposes
  • Remove any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices
  • Share your login credentials or course access with others
  • Record, copy, or redistribute any live or recorded sessions
  • Teach, train others in, or commercially implement our proprietary methods, including Embodied Imagination® for Psychedelic Integration

4.4 User-Generated Content

By submitting any content to our website, forums, or community spaces, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, and worldwide license to use, modify, publicly display, reproduce, and distribute such content on our platforms.

5. User Accounts and Registration

5.3 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts, deny access, remove or edit content, or cancel orders at our sole discretion if we believe you have violated these Terms or other applicable policies.

6. Organizational Agreements

6.1 B2B Training and Services

For organizations engaging our B2B training services:

  • All B2B services are governed by separately executed agreements that may contain terms different from those outlined in these general Terms and Conditions
  • Customized training programs, staff education, and institutional consulting are delivered according to specifications outlined in those agreements
  • Organizations are responsible for ensuring internal compliance with training requirements
  • Organizations must obtain proper authorization for any recording, distribution, or internal sharing of our training materials

6.2 Custom Program Development

For custom program development:

  • Intellectual property rights for custom materials will be specified in the service agreement
  • Organizations may be granted specific usage rights while School of Psychedelics retains ownership of core methodologies and approaches
  • The scope, timeline, and deliverables for custom program development will be defined in the service agreement

7. Payments and Refund Policy

7.1 Payment Methods

We accept payments through secure third-party payment processors, including but not limited to Stripe, PayPal, and other designated payment systems. By making a purchase, you agree to comply with the terms of these third-party payment processors.

7.2 Pricing and Fees

All prices are listed in US Dollars unless otherwise specified. We reserve the right to modify pricing at any time. Any price changes will not affect purchases already completed.

7.3 Payment Plans

When selecting a payment plan option:

  • You commit to making all installment payments according to the schedule
  • Missing a payment may result in suspension of access until payment is made
  • Early termination of your participation does not release you from your payment obligations

7.4 Refund Policy

Online Training Programs
  • Full refund available within 7 days of purchase if no course content has been accessed
  • No refunds after 7 days or once course content has been accessed
Immersive Retreats
  • Full refund minus a 10% administrative fee if cancellation occurs more than 60 days before the retreat start date
  • 50% refund if cancellation occurs 30-60 days before the retreat start date
  • No refunds for cancellations less than 30 days before the retreat start date
  • Transfer to another retreat may be possible, subject to availability and a transfer fee

7.5 Retreat Participant Responsibilities

  • Participants are strongly encouraged to obtain appropriate travel insurance that includes coverage for trip cancellation, medical emergencies, and evacuation
  • Participants are responsible for ensuring they meet all entry requirements for retreat destinations, including visas and health requirements
  • Participants must disclose relevant health information as requested in pre-retreat assessments
  • School of Psychedelics reserves the right to refuse participation to individuals whose health conditions may pose risks in the retreat environment

7.6 Retreat Modifications

School of Psychedelics reserves the right to make changes to retreat programs, including changes to facilitators, specific activities, or accommodation arrangements, if necessary. We will make reasonable efforts to notify participants of significant changes.

7.7 Supervised Practicum

  • Refunds available within 7 days of enrollment if no practicum activities have been initiated
  • No refunds once practicum supervision has begun

7.8 Digital Products

  • No refunds once digital products have been downloaded or accessed

7.9 Force Majeure

School of Psychedelics shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations where such failure is a result of acts of nature (including fire, flood, earthquake, storm, hurricane, or other natural disaster), war, invasion, act of foreign enemies, hostilities (whether war is declared or not), civil war, rebellion, revolution, insurrection, military or usurped power or confiscation, terrorist activities, government sanction, blockage, embargo, labor dispute, strike, lockout, pandemic, epidemic, or interruption or failure of services beyond our reasonable control.

If a Force Majeure event occurs, School of Psychedelics will:

  • Provide notice to affected participants as soon as reasonably possible
  • Make reasonable efforts to reschedule events or provide alternative access to services
  • Offer credit toward future services if rescheduling is not possible
  • Work in good faith to provide fair and reasonable solutions for all parties

Refunds in Force Majeure situations will be determined on a case-by-case basis according to the specific circumstances, our ability to recover our own costs, and the feasibility of rescheduling.

7.10 Scholarships

Scholarship recipients are subject to the same refund policies. Early termination or failure to complete the program may affect future scholarship eligibility.

8. Code of Conduct

8.1 Community Standards

Users of our website, courses, and community spaces agree to:

  • Treat others with respect, dignity, and compassion
  • Refrain from harassment, discrimination, or intimidation
  • Respect the privacy and confidentiality of other participants
  • Engage in constructive and supportive communication

  • No refund for purchased services if termination is due to policy violations
