Upon completion of the Foundations of Psychedelic Medicine online training, you will receive a Training Certificate in Foundations of Psychedelic Medicine.

Important: This foundation training certificate is NOT the same as becoming a certified Psychedelic Preparation and Integration Practitioner. The online training provides only the first step toward full certification, which requires completing all three components (Online Training, Immersive Retreat, and Supervised Practicum).

The skills acquired can be legally applied within the scope of your professional practice, providing education on preparation and integration while adhering to ethical guidelines. However, this training does not grant authorization to administer or facilitate psychedelic experiences.

This training focuses on preparing individuals before psychedelic experiences and supporting their integration afterward. You'll gain foundational knowledge in psychedelic preparation, ethics, and applications that can be integrated into existing professional practices.

The course does not involve participating in psychedelic journeys nor teach how to guide or facilitate journeys. Instead, it utilizes the Embodied Imagination® for Psychedelic Integration method to explore expanded states of consciousness. These skills provide a solid foundation for helping clients navigate their psychedelic experiences safely and effectively.

There are no strict prerequisites beyond watching our free training. The program is designed for healthcare professionals, coaches, healing practitioners, and anyone committed to supporting safe psychedelic experiences. No prior psychedelic experience is required—just an open-minded, non-judgmental approach.

You can enroll immediately after watching the free training. The course is entirely remote, allowing you to complete all coursework from home.

What's the course format, and how are live sessions handled?The Foundations of Psychedelic Medicine online training is delivered entirely remotely. Live sessions follow a recurring schedule, and attendance is required for key modules. If you miss a session, you can join the next session (typically within six weeks). Note that live sessions are not recorded to maintain privacy.

We offer multiple time slots for our live sessions to accommodate students across global time zones. Sessions are typically scheduled at different times throughout the week, allowing participants to select the most convenient option for their location. Upon enrollment, you'll have access to our scheduling system where you can view all available sessions in your local time zone. To participate, you'll need a reliable internet connection, a computer with video capability for live sessions, and access to our online learning platform. No specialized software is required beyond a standard web browser.

All course materials, including readings and resources, are included and available online. Students have access to these materials for six months after completing the program.

Most students complete the training in approximately 2–4 months, though the course is self-paced. To finish in ~3 months, plan for approximately 5–7 hours per week of engagement with video lectures, reading assignments, live sessions, and peer discussions. Taking a slower pace is perfectly acceptable—the program will simply take longer to complete.

Yes! This online training serves as the first part of the full certification pathway. If you decide to continue, your progress counts toward the certification.

To advance to the Immersive Retreat component, you'll need to complete a separate application process. We carefully review each retreat application to ensure cohort harmony and to maintain the intimate, transformative environment that makes our retreats so powerful. This selective process helps us create a balanced group dynamic where every participant can fully engage in the deep experiential work of Embodied Imagination® for Psychedelic Integration.

Once accepted into and having completed both the online training and retreat components, you can then enroll in the Supervised Practicum to complete your full certification journey.
